For nearly three decades, Asylum Digital Recording & Mixing has helped artists, bands, and producers capture those performances with an approach built on experience, attention to detail, and respect for the song.

Since 1998, I’ve worked out of Asylum Digital on thousands of demanding sessions. Recording and mixing projects across a wide range of budgets taught me how to listen intently and move fast. As a collaborator, I’m here to assist the artist in realizing their vision and help move the project from idea
to release.

I’ve engineered/mixed records for labels from Atlantic to Mass Appeal to Universal Music Group; cut vocals for film/television jobs from ESPN to NPR and everything in between...

Recording and Mixing

From Hip-Hop to Indie Rock, great recordings start with great performances.

To expertly capture these performances, Asylum Digital features an intimate live room with 3 various-sized iso booths, purpose-built around our collection of modern and vintage instruments/recording gear. The layout of our tracking space (along with clean lines of sight between all iso’s and control room) allows for plenty of flexibility, whether we are recording a full band/ensemble, vocalist, commercial v/o or podcast. Our rooms are designed to be comfortable and inspiring with gear that stays serviced and ready to work - no surprises in your session.

At mix - we can be fully in-the-box, bus out thru the console and use some outboard compressors/eqs, or a little bit of both. Everything is on the table to get the sound you’re looking for!
