to get the best performance to tape is what decades of experience brings to a session.
Asylum Digital Recording & Mixing is my recording studio located in Charlotte, NC, and I’ve proudly helped artists
craft records since 1998. From Hip-Hop to Indie, regardless of budget, each and every project is treated with the same
care and priority as if it was my very own.
Recording and Mixing
Asylum Digital features an intimate live room with 3 various-sized iso booths, purpose-built around our collection of modern and vintage instruments/recording gear. The layout of our tracking space (along with clean lines of sight between all iso’s and control room) allows for plenty of flexibility, whether we are recording a full band/ensemble, overdub session, vocalist, commercial v/o or podcast.
Graphics and Web
Ensuring that your project remains at the highest standard from start to completion, Asylum Digital can assist with related artist services ranging from graphic design and photography to social media and web campaigns. Whether it’s merch or an online social media campaign, Stephen Barrett’s design work speaks for itself - with a strong statement and a clean aesthetic.
