Asylum Digital Recording & Mixing is a commercial recording studio located in Charlotte, NC, and we’ve proudly helped to create awesome records since 1998.

The studio features an intimate live room with 3 various-sized iso booths. These great sounding rooms were purpose-built around our collection of modern & vintage recording gear. We feel that the layout of our space (along with clean lines of sight) allows for plenty of flexibility, whether we are tracking a full band, solo vocalist or a corporate v/o.

To keep the creativity flowing during your recording session, our collection of well-maintained instruments is always at your disposal. In-between takes, you can feel free to kick back in our lounge & browse the interwebs, play some Xbox or watch a movie from our massive media collection.

Ensuring that your project remains at the highest standard from start to completion, Asylum Digital also offers related services ranging from graphic & web design to photography.

We have a sort of “hybrid” approach to recording & mixing sound at ADRM. By “hybrid”, I mean that we utilize both a DAW & an awesome selection of outboard gear. This approach allows us to get the absolute best results for your project.
